Accreditation nº 2025-1-PT01-KA120-ADU-000380692

The aim of Adult Education Accreditation within the Erasmus+ framework is to support organisations in developing a long-term strategy for high-quality learning mobility in adult education. Accreditation enables institutions to simplify access to funding while strengthening their capacity to organise international learning activities, cooperation, and professional development. It promotes continuous improvement in adult education by enhancing inclusion, digital and green competences, and by ensuring that adult learners, especially those with fewer opportunities, benefit from innovative learning experiences across Europe.

With the approval of the Erasmus+ Adult Education Accreditation, AIAM, also known as Mobility Friends, as the coordinating institution, aims to create meaningful opportunities for the adult education community. This accreditation supports personal and professional growth, fosters the development and international collaboration of the participating organisations, and promotes sustainable, high-quality learning experiences across Europe.

Key objectives:

  1. Development and strengthening of staff competences within the institution, promoting eco-friendly institutional processes and enhancing the quality of lifelong learning internationalisation.
  2. Enhance and leverage digital, sustainable, and inclusive environments through the capacity-building of adult education providers and learners, including unemployed individuals and migrants.
  3. Strengthen the network of European partners in adult education, fostering cooperation, innovation, and quality in teaching and learning.

The mobilities are aimed at AIAM staff members, including those who have never taken part in an international activity before, as well as adult education providers and adult learners, including unemployed individuals and those with fewer opportunities or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Participants will take part in training course activities in the areas of digital literacy and technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and social and language skills. They will also engage in job shadowing activities in European organisations to learn from best practices and acquire technical knowledge that supports both personal and professional development.
