This course is designed for individuals who have little to no prior knowledge of the English language. The course will focus on developing basic language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a focus on practical, everyday situations.

Course Objectives
- Develop basic proficiency in English language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
- Build essential vocabulary related to everyday situations.
- Understand basic grammar rules.
- Develop the ability to communicate in practical, everyday situations.

Day 1
- Introduction to English.
- English alphabet and sounds.
- Greetings and basic conversation skills.
- Numbers and basic counting.
Day 2
- Vocabulary Building.
- Vocabulary related to food and drinks.
- Vocabulary related to the workplace.
- Vocabulary related to transportation.
Day 3
- Grammar Essentials.
- Basic sentence structure.
- Verb conjugation.
- Noun gender.
Day 4
- Practical Situations.
- Ordering food and drinks.
- Shopping and bargaining.
- Asking for directions.
Day 5
- Listening and Speaking Skills.
- Understanding basic spoken English.
- Engaging in simple conversations.
- Pronunciation practice.
- Feedback and evaluation course.

Price
All expenses can be covered through a Knowledge Acquisition (KA) subsidy within the Erasmus+ initiative. This is a 5-day training course in which Mobility Friends imposes a fee of 450 euros per attendee, in courses located in the cities of the continent. For the Madeira and Azores, the price will be 480 euros.

Certificate
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to participants who attend a minimum of 80% of the course.
Schedule
The timing of classes, whether in the morning or afternoon, is determined by the provider. The schedule may vary considerably based on participants’ preferences and the trainer’s discretion regarding any modifications.
Cultural activities
The participants will have the opportunity to visit the most emblematic cities of Portugal (Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Aveiro, Viana do Castelo, and others). The cultural activity program may differ according to the participant’s choices (the cultural visit is not included in the course price).

For certain courses, it may be necessary for you to bring your own laptop. Our team will inform you in case of need.
