SCH projects offer a unique opportunity for young people to participate in activities in different European countries, contributing to important causes and expanding their cultural and personal horizons together with other schools, in this case, in Portugal. Mobility Friends forges new partnerships daily, particularly with Portuguese schools, to create a synergy between unique learning experiences, as exemplified by the collaboration with Gonçalo Nunes School Group and Alcaides Faria Secondary School.
These two institutions welcomed our groups from Romania and Belgium with open arms to cooperate in their SCH projects, offering a set of extremely professional learning and cultural experiences.
The daily interactions with Portuguese students provided invaluable opportunities for cultural exchange and language practice, fostering mutual understanding and friendship. Engaging in joint activities such as surfing and dancing further strengthened the bonds between the participants, creating unforgettable memories and moments of shared joy.
Through this collaborative initiative, participants gained a deeper appreciation for diversity, developed essential life skills, and cultivated a sense of global citizenship. The experience exemplified the power of cross-cultural exchange in fostering personal growth, building bridges between communities, and creating a more interconnected world.
