From 18 to 25 July, the Mobility Friends team participated in a learning mobility in Sweden as part of the Erasmus+ project 2025-1-PT01-KA122-ADU-000341280 “Health & Safety Mobility: Learning, Adapting, Improving.
Throughout the week, our team attended the “Occupational Health and Safety” training course, which combined expert-led sessions with interactive, hands-on activities. Through case studies, group discussions, and emergency response simulations, participants gained essential skills to identify workplace hazards, conduct structured risk assessments, and respond effectively to real-life emergency situations.
This mobility offered a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices. Comparing occupational health and safety approaches between Portugal and Sweden sparked meaningful discussions and provided fresh perspectives on fostering safer, healthier work environments.
Beyond the formal training, it was also a wonderful opportunity to immerse ourselves in Sweden’s rich cultural heritage. The team explored iconic landmarks—including the Vasa Museum, the Skansen Open-Air Museum, and the historic island of Vaxholm—and enjoyed a memorable Viking Night experience. These cultural activities added an enriching layer to the mobility, strengthening team cohesion while balancing professional growth with unforgettable memories.
This Erasmus+ experience equipped our staff with practical knowledge and innovative strategies that will directly enhance health and safety practices at Mobility Friends. By bringing these new insights home, we continue to foster a culture of continuous learning, adaptation, and organizational excellence.
