Let’s talk! It’s European Day of Languages! This year’s celebration is in the light of the European Year of the Cultural Heritage that promotes the importance of the European heritage and values. The aim of the EDL, declared by the Council of Europe in 2001, is to raise awareness of the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of Europe, as well as the importance of learning languages. EU has 24 Official Languages and this year’s celebration is special as it’s been 60 years since Declaration 1/58 of the Council, which gave the foundation for multiliguistic policy of the EU. 26/09/18
